ALLOY is the decision of somewhat isolated weirdos that if we can’t find a community, we’re gonna fucking build one. We’re here for the people who can’t get to the local shows, and the people who don’t have local shows because their favorite band is seven states away. We’re here for the kids at the back of the classroom debating which band member has the best ass (don’t pretend you haven’t, you goddamn liar), and the kids who are the only metalhead in school. We’re here for the guy who hasn’t picked up a zine in decades, and the guy who just learned what a zine is five minutes ago.

The second you turn this page, whether you’re clicking through on a computer screen or you printed this out, you’re our sibling/cousin/weird uncle/aunt. The subgenre doesn’t matter. The age doesn’t matter. Whatever elitist bullshit you wanna try to bring does not fucking matter.
